Taman Sea Vocational School teacher tested positive for Covid-19

Shah Alam: A teacher at Taman Sea National Secondary School, Petaling Jaya confirmed positive for Covid-19 today.
The teacher is in close contact with Covid-19 patients in Kelantan.
Selangor Education Director, Izmi Ismail, said the teacher was found positive for Covid-19 after undergoing the third screening test on October 5.

This teacher has undergone self-quarantine since September 30 but for the first and second screening test, this teacher was found to be negative.
During the waiting period, he underwent quarantine at home and did not attend school, he said when contacted by Sinar Harian today.

He said in this regard, it was understood that the Petaling District Health Office had instructed all students from class 1C, 2K, 2B & 2J as well as some teachers to quarantine at home while waiting for the swab test.
Currently, only classes are closed and sanitized. We always follow the advice issued by the District Health Office and the Ministry of Health Malaysia regarding further steps after this, he said.
