Fallen Afghan government's envoy urges UN to probe Taliban rights abuses

GENEVA: An Afghan ambassador appointed by the Kabul government that collapsed last month called Tuesday for the UN to immediately launch an investigation into alleged abuses by the new Taliban authorities.
