SEGi College Joins Hands with National Sports Council Malaysia

Putrajaya: SEGi College Kuala Lumpur (SEGi) recently joined hands with the National Sports Council (“Majlis Sukan Negara” or MSN) Malaysia to work together on a collaborative education pathway for athletes, coaches and staff of MSN.

Present to formalise the collaboration was Mr. Sri Jaiandran A/L Munusamy, Chief Executive of SEGi College Kuala Lumpur and Dato’ Ahmad Shapawi Bin Ismail, Director of Majlis Sukan Negara. The signing ceremony which was held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia was witnessed by Ms Stella Lau, CEO, SEGi Group of Colleges and Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Reezal Merican Naina Merican, Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia.

“We understand that athletics and those involve formally in the sports scene has limited time to pursue their further education. To address this gap, SEGi will work on accommodate students from MSN as far as possible in SEGi activities and programmes. We are looking to offer diploma and degree programmes with flexible study durations to potential athlete students of MSN based on their chosen field of study,” said Mr. Sri Jaiandran, Chief Executive of SEGi College Kuala Lumpur.
