KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 11 — The Bib Gourmand list for 2026 has a total of 58 restaurants, which includes five new entrants from Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

The Bib Gourmand list, revealed in a ceremony held at Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur, highlights places that serve great food at affordable prices as selected by Michelin inspectors.

Among the newly picked places are Gulainya in Damansara Heights and Lama Antique & Restaurant in Setapak for Kuala Lumpur.
In Penang, Awesome Char Koay Teow, Bee Hwa Cafe and Sifu Nyonya Cuisine made the cut this year.
It’s a big win for Peranakan cuisine as three restaurants—Gulainya, Lama Antique & Restaurant and Sifu Nyonya Cuisine—bring the rich cuisine to the limelight.
This year, Restoran Pik Wah in Kuala Lumpur, Penang’s Tho Yuen and Serabai Istimewa have been dropped from the list.
