Panasonic Malaysia offers sneak peek at new products for holistic wellbeing

PETALING JAYA: Panasonic Malaysia showcased 45 new products across nine categories, including refrigerators, water purifiers, rice cookers, washing machines, home showers, TVs, headphones, vacuum cleaners and ceiling fans at a launch event yesterday.

This is part of their ongoing efforts to champion solutions that make people’s lives simpler, safer, healthier, more enjoyable, more connected and more productive.

With their new brand action tagline, “Create Today. Enrich Tomorrow.”, Panasonic Malaysia managing director Keisuke Nishida said their long-standing mission, established by their founder, is for the corporation to contribute to society.

“This new tagline truly represents our goal to enhance the quality of lives of people around the world every day. We do this through our dedication in creating high-quality products that improve their personal wellbeing,” said Nishida during the launch yesterday.

The new products launched yesterday fall under three areas of wellbeing – Inner, Outer and Spatial Wellbeing.

KITCHEN OF TOMORROW

When it comes to inner wellbeing, Panasonic focuses on building the kitchen of tomorrow to instill a healthy diet and lifestyle.

For instance, Panasonic’s PRIME+ Edition Refrigerator (NR-YW590YMMM) comes with features such as PRIME Freeze, which provides industrial-level freezing that makes it easy to prepare and freeze healthy meals.

During busy days, preparing nutritious meals in a short amount of time is effortless, thanks to its PRIME Fresh function that reduces thawing time by keeping food frozen at -3°C.

The built-in nanoe X function also helps degrade pesticide residue on fruits and vegetables.

PHYSICAL HYGIENE

It is important to keep one’s outer wellbeing in check, and part of that is ensuring the clothes worn on a daily basis are kept clean and sanitised.

Panasonic’s Washer Dryer (NA-S106FR1BM) features powerful antibacterial technology known as Blue Ag+, which combines UV light and Ag+ silver ions to save electricity while eliminating bacteria from clothes in a regular wash cycle.

The Auto TubCare feature sanitises the washing machine tub during a wash cycle with its UV light, offering users easy and effective hygienic washing.

It also comes with the Hybrid Dry feature, which gently dries clothes at 50°C.

ENHANCED LIVING ATMOSPHERE

For spatial wellbeing, it involves having a living atmosphere at home that is safe and clean, along with access to all kinds of entertainment.

Panasonic has upgraded their home entertainment offerings to meet the ever-evolving demand for high-definition entertainment in this digital era.

To deliver the best viewing experience, the new range of televisions are designed with the latest technology based on the film industry, and developed in collaboration with film studios at the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory for more than 20 years.

The electronics and home appliances brand worked with the best professional colourists from Hollywood to fine-tune the TVs to bring unparalleled picture quality via its OLED 4K series (TH-77LZ2000K).

FUTURE-ORIENTED APPLIANCES

In a nutshell, Panasonic’s products are collectively aimed at realising true holistic wellbeing for consumers.

These new products are available for purchase at all authorised Panasonic dealers as well as online platforms and marketplace, with the exception of washing machines, televisions, headphones and alkaline ionizers, which will be available in October.
