The event will be officiated by the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri on 28 February. In addressing recent issues surrounding the brand, Siti Khadijah wishes to clarify that the brand is a local telekung manufacturer in Malaysia, based at Laman Khadijah in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. Alll of Siti Khadijah telekung is a trademark registered with MyIPO.

Munzir added, “There has been a lot of Siti Khadijah counterfeit telekung being sold online. It is crucial for us to maintain the integrity of our brand as all of our products are exclusively crafted within Malaysia, with no involvement from other countries, including Vietnam. We are actively combating these online sales platforms on Siti Khadijah counterfeit telekung selling activities. We will take firm legal action against counterfeit telekung peddlers. As such we strongly urge the responsible parties to stop these illegal activities immediately”
